It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joan Adams, a cherished member of our community. Joan, of 7 Cambourne Drive, Ballymoney, formerly of Walkmill Farm, Bushmills, died peacefully at the hospital on 17th November 2025. Her death marks the loss of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she knew.

Joan was the dearly loved wife of David, a much-loved mother to Michael and Gillian, and mother-in-law to Annette. She was a devoted grandmother to Ellie and her partner Jamie, Jasmine, and Amelie, and a proud great-grandmother to little Ace. Her family and friends remember her as a caring, gentle soul whose love extended to all who knew her. Her passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of her loved ones and the wider community.

The service will take place at Dunluce Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 12:00 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining burying ground. Her family requests that the house remains strictly private during this time. Family flowers only are requested, but donations can be made in lieu if desired to Dementia NI, via Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Joan’s loving family and entire family circle deeply regret her loss but find comfort in her lasting legacy of love and kindness. Her memory will be treasured forever.
