The Lafayette community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Adam Gary, a beloved substation electrician whose kindness, humor, and warmth touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Friends and family are remembering Adam as someone whose presence could instantly brighten a room, a man whose spirit seemed built to lift others up.

Those closest to him say that God truly takes away some of the best people, and Adam was undeniably one of them. Whenever he walked into a room, it felt as though he carried light with him. He had a natural gift for making others smile, cracking jokes that could ease any tension, soften any worry, and bring genuine laughter to those around him. His personality wasn’t just humorous — it was healing.

Adam created memories that will never fade. To his friends, he wasn’t just someone to hang out with; he was someone who made life better simply by being in it. The moments shared with him — the conversations, the laughter, the unforgettable times — are now treasures carried in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

His loved ones say their world is already quieter without him, already missing the sound of his jokes and the comfort of his presence. Though his physical journey has ended, Adam’s impact remains deeply alive in the stories, love, and light he gave so freely. Lafayette loses not only a skilled electrician, but a friend, a bright soul, and a true source of joy. Adam’s legacy will continue to shine through every person he touched.
